BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS 12.8 high-voltage battery
The new system generation builds on the existing storage systems and retains all the existing functions. The Battery-Box Premium HVS is a battery module with higher storage capacities than its predecessor. Thanks to further developments in cell technology, the system weight has been reduced by almost 30%. The installation depth has also been reduced by 8 cm, thus requiring less space. At the same time, the new devices have a slimmer appearance. One of the highlights: The new storage systems have an IP55 protection rating, which also allows them to be used outdoors.
Even more flexible and scalable. With the new generation, up to three battery towers can now be connected to a single system. However, BYD remains true to its name when it comes to charging and discharging power. Each battery can also deliver the rated capacity as power – i.e., 1C. This makes the new series ideally suited for on-grid, on-grid plus backup, and off-grid systems.
